Applicator Training Course

New Course for Professional Applicators

AGCO and Asmark Institute are collaborating to offer the Applicator Training course dedicated to educating professional applicators of crop protection products and plant nutrients. The hands-on, four day course will provide professional training to newly hired applicators and those with up to five years of experience in liquid and dry application.

Key course topics and benefits include:

Experiencing first-hand the operation of each unit on a dedicated path designed to orientate you to the unit and test your skills. Each student drives each of the five units in our fleet of applicators.
Completing math and measurements with more confidence.
Understanding sprayer components and systems.
Learning which resources to turn to for information on new chemistry.
Course supports efforts to pass your State applicator test. We test at the end of each section using an Audience Response System.
Competency is demonstrated throughout the course, especially in the final session where tabletop scenarios are used to decide to spray, or not to spray based on the situation facing them.
