Steer with Confidence

With the new Challenger Auto-Guide guidance system, you can drive reliably and accurately without actively steering, even in difficult reception conditions. Ease of operation is ensured, thanks to the familiar operating interface integrated into the AccuTerminal. And no matter the receiver, the menu structure remains straightforward and unchanged. Your fleet will be optimally utilized, while gaps and overlaps are virtually eliminated and area coverage is increased providing a savings of up 10 %.

The Power of Choice

Auto-Guide’s electronic automatic guidance architecture gives you deeper machine integration for automated headland management sequences, a streamlined user experience and more receiver choices than any other equipment manufacturer. You can choose the best accuracy and signal choice for your needs. Choose between two different receiver systems: NovAtel® or Trimble® . Plus, you can choose from many different signal types. Auto-Guide works with satellite-based signals, such as EGNOS or OmniSTAR, as well as ground-based RTK signals via radio or mobile network (NTRIP). It even supports open formats such as RTCM. Challenger also offers automated steering systems in three accuracy classes: standard (sub-meter), precision (decimeter) and RTK (centimeter).

NovAtel® Receiver

Entry-level variant offers EGNOS/WAAS correction service with the option to upgrade to RTK (radio or NTRIP). NovAtel provides up to 1 minute of fill-in time for RTK signal outages. An upgrade to NovAtel RTK additionally gives you access to more precise RTK signals via radio and mobile networks.

Trimble Receiver

The Trimble receiver offers an expanded range of functions. The entry-level version comes with EGNOS/WAAS correction services and RangePoint™ RTX™. Available upgrades include the CenterPoint™ RTX™ correction service and RTK (radio, NTRIP & Trimble® RTK services). With Trimble® xFill technology, fill-in time for RTK signal outage is up to 20 minutes. Upgrade to the Trimble RTK receiver delivers even greater precision of up to +/- 2 cm repeatable accuracy. Existing Trimble® RTK infrastructures on farms such as NTRIP can continue to be used.

ISOBUS Compatibility

Implements completely under control

ISOBUS implement control in the Challenger AccuTerminal is your link to all implements. Monitor and control all ISOBUS 11783-compliant implements, including balers, planters and sprayers without the need for additional cab monitors or control boxes. Simply plug and play for seamless operation, saving time, money and needless installations of additional monitors.

During ISOBUS implement control, the AccuTerminal can simultaneously display up to four applications, giving you the ability to operate several ISOBUS implements at the same time (via screen change). Display options include quarter-screen, half-screen portrait, half-screen landscape or full-screen with both menu bars on the right or separately on both sides

Joystick Control (AUX-O or AUX-N )

Frequently used, ISOBUS implement-supported functions can be assigned to the buttons on the tractor’s multi-function joystick, keeping them readily at hand. Up to ten functions can be assigned simply by clicking in the AccuTerminal, while the clear display gives an overview of the current assignment at a glance. Challenger supports the two leading ISOBUS standards AUX-N and AUX-O to ensure that your ISOBUS implement is always under your optimal control.

AgControl

Precision Right on the Mark

AgControl is the most accurate and responsive rate control system on the market. Whether using field sprayers, fertilizer spreaders, planters or seed drills – never apply valuable farm inputs twice, instead work without overlaps or gaps regardless of the field shape or size. Simply couple the ISOBUS implement you wish to use, and all parameters are transmitted to the AccuTerminal automatically.

AgControl is perfectly integrated with AccuTerminal operation to make your work easier by using GNSS (global navigation satellite system) positioning, whether in the day or at night. Thanks to up to 36 individually controllable width sections, fields are cultivated as intensive and ecological as possible, even in poor visibility. This allows savings of up to 17% to be achieved .

Precisely Measured Efficiency

AgControl enables the use of application maps and automated application rate adjustments. This function is based on the ISOBUS standard with TC-GEO functionality. The application map is created with the aid of a compatible field management system and transferred to the AccuTerminal via TaskDoc.

Process five application maps simultaneously

Variable Rate Control (VRC) allows you to process up to 5 application maps simultaneously. An as-applied map of the actually applied quantities is created for later verification.

Up to five farm inputs

Variable Rate Control allows up to 5 farm inputs to be applied at the same time. For example, with single-seed drills, the application rates of seed, fertilizer and micro-granular can be metered independently from each other.

Use TaskDoc to transfer application maps easily from compatible field databases. Transfer the application map from your PC to the tractor, switch on TaskDoc and your field sprayer, and you are ready to go!

Headland Management

AccuField Command™

Without AccuField Command™ operators need to perform many steps manually at the headland. Depending on the implement used, this can cause substantial stress and be a source of any number of errors. These tasks are better performed by your AccuField Command™. Operators can activate automated operating sequences at headlands with the touch of a button, saving valuable time and gaining productivity throughout the entire work day.

The system is able to launch up to 39 sequential steps, which can be activated via five different triggers. The sequential steps are defined by your individual needs and preferences. Choose from 71 possible settings for engine and transmission control, hydraulic valves, front and rear linkages, front and rear PTOs, and automatically start sequences via GNSS at a headland.

All settings in the AccuTerminal can be saved under a unique name to be called up later. For example, if you have set the engine or cruise control speeds, or configured the hydraulics and linkage, these settings can be easily reloaded and adjusted.
